More and more MRO and Airlines customers are interested in the Maintenance Dock designed by IFLY GSE. We have listened to the needs of many customers and designed two different Narrow Body Universal Tail Docks. Both of these Tail Docks can be adjusted in height. The minimum height can be used for the B737 series, and the maximum height can be used for the A320 series. However, they are designed for two different working scenarios.

This type of Tail Dock with left and right parts is mainly used in open hangars. After the aircraft has come to a stop, it can be dragged close to the aircraft's vertical tail via a tow bar. It can also be remotely controlled to move by installing electric drive wheels. This Tail Dock has a simple structure and can achieve overall lifting through the horizontal tail platform.

Another type of Tail Dock is designed as a whole. This type of docking station is commonly used in compact working environments with size requirements. The Tail Dock is moved to a fixed location, and the aircraft uses a tail-in approach. The horizontal tail platform can be raised and lowered; the vertical tail platform is divided into two layers, which can be raised and lowered independently and also moved left and right independently. This design is more complex.

All lifting and lowering operations are achieved through a motor-driven worm gear. This design is simple, reliable, and easy to operate.
